Our Process
Step 1 – Initial Consultation
Your journey begins with designing your Neatsmith wardrobe, study, or living space at our showroom, where you can meet our designers and start shaping ideas for your new space. This allows you to explore different layouts, materials, and finishes whilst experiencing the quality of our craftsmanship in person and speaking with an expert designer.
As every Neatsmith design is bespoke, we take the time to understand your style and how you want your new space to function. We’ll guide you through the possibilities, offering professional advice and expertise to ensure the final design reflects both your vision and your home's character.
Step 2 – DESIGN & QUOTE
After your consultation, your designer will transform the ideas discussed into a detailed concept using a full-colour 3D rendering. This gives you a clear visualisation of your bespoke Neatsmith wardrobe or storage solution and how it will look in your space.
Step 3 – PLACING YOUR ORDER
Once you are happy with the finalised design, a deposit secures your order, and we send a surveyor to complete a full site survey. Once we have the final dimensions, your furniture is placed into production in our UK factory, where our skilled craftsmen build it.
All of our Neatsmith wardrobes and furniture are designed and built in the UK, and we keep clients up to date throughout the process.
Step 4 – DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
Our dedicated installation team, all full-time Neatsmith employees, will then fit your bespoke furniture with care and precision. They work conscientiously and respectfully, ensuring your home is left clean and tidy once installation is complete.
STEP 5 – AFTERCARE
Our work doesn’t stop after installation. Our aftercare team is always available to help should you need us. Every Neatsmith product is also supplied with a market-leading warranty and a lifetime guarantee on hinges and drawer runners.
At Neatsmith, sustainability is an important part of how we operate. Our wood panels are supplied by a UK-based FSC-certified partner committed to responsible forest management.
